1. Download iBook app to the iphone 4s or any ebook app to view your pdf/ebook: Download link
2. Add a playlist to Itunes and give a name of your choice e.g. Ebook.
3. Locate your pdf/ebook file singularly or in multiple selections then drag and drop into your playlist.
4. Sync and transfer the itunes playlist to your iphone 4s.
